Improve server responsiveness and reduce lag with chunk pregeneration, optimized startup settings, and proper resource allocation.

1. Pregenerate World Chunks

• Install the Chunky plugin or mod through the installer (automatically filters by your version).
• Execute a 5000-block radius generation using Chunky’s commands.
• Refer to the detailed setup guide for complete configuration steps.

2. Enable Paper Optimizations

• Head to the Settings area in your control panel.
• Switch the startup flag option to Optimized Paper.
• Under Variables, turn off Overwrite Startup to preserve the optimization flag.
• Reboot your server to activate these settings.

3. Verify Resource Allocation

• Confirm your server has adequate RAM and CPU assigned for smooth operation.
