Setting Up SFTP Access
Connect to your server files securely using SFTP with WinSCP or FileZilla—includes automatic launch and manual configuration steps.
1. Get an SFTP Client
Section titled “1. Get an SFTP Client”2. Use Quick Launch (Recommended)
Section titled “2. Use Quick Launch (Recommended)”- Log into your game panel and select your server.
- Head to the Files section and locate the controls in the upper right corner.
- Press the SFTP button, then select Launch SFTP.
If automatic launch doesn’t work, use the manual setup instructions below.
FileZilla Manual Configuration
Section titled “FileZilla Manual Configuration”Open FileZilla
Section titled “Open FileZilla”- Fill in the connection fields at the top of the window:
- Host: Copy from your panel’s SFTP details
- Username: Copy from your panel’s SFTP details
- Password: Use your panel login password
- Port: Use the port shown in your panel
Connect to Your Server
Section titled “Connect to Your Server”- Click Quick Connect to establish the connection and browse your files.
WinSCP Manual Configuration
Section titled “WinSCP Manual Configuration”Open WinSCP
Section titled “Open WinSCP”- Choose New Session from the menu.
Enter Connection Details
Section titled “Enter Connection Details”- Input the SFTP credentials from your panel:
- Host: Copy from your panel’s SFTP details
- Username: Copy from your panel’s SFTP details
- Password: Use your panel login password
- Port: Use the port shown in your panel
Establish Connection
Section titled “Establish Connection”- Click Login to access your server’s file system.
